The airport has a Swiss Federal Railways Station located under Terminal B. Take the train directly to Horgen Station for the Lake of Zurich. Trains also go to many city and tourist destinations across Switzerland. Taxis can be found outside terminals A and B. The bus terminal is located adjacent to car park B; ten regular bus lines serve regional towns and villages.
Driving directions: From Zurich Airport take highway A3 to Chur exit Horgen, main-road straight down to the lake, left hand side (Zugerstrasse) at the traffic light turn to the left (Seestrasse) - keep straight on, after passing the subway arrive at Golden Tulip Seehotel Meierhof.
A lake steamer service on the Lake of Zurich connects most communities on both sides of the lake with the city, while the area is easily travelled by car.
