Zurich International Airport (ZRH): Approximate driving time is 20 minutes and distance is 10 kilometres (6 miles).
The airport has a Swiss Federal Railways Station located under Terminal B, with trains to central Zurich and many city and tourist destinations across Switzerland. Taxis can be found outside terminals A and B; fare to city centre is approximately 50 CHF (€35). The bus terminal is located adjacent to car park B; ten regular bus lines serve regional towns and villages.
Driving directions: From the airport follow green signs for Zurich City. Approach the tunnel (Milchbuck) in the left-hand lane and after the tunnel turn left at the lights in the direction of Zurich City Centre. At the next lights turn right for Central/Rapperswil. Continue along the river in the left-hand lane until the Hotel Central on the left. Drive around the roundabout and turn right for Forch (Seilergraben). The hotel is around the corner on the right.
The best way to get around Zurich is by bus or tram. Taxis are not easily found in Zurich and are among the most expensive in Europe. Bike rentals are available at the train station.
